We are a small studio in Charlottesville, Virginia dedicated to teaching, researching and creating real-world combat and street defense. With great abilities come great responsibilities. We are accepting serious students who are looking to learn more than just fighting. Train to become a guardian in a safe, fun and unique studio.

Continually researching and renewing our healing exercises, combing ancient Kung-Fu, modern "body-weight" exercises, yoga, and multiple modalities creates a system that adapts to all health and age levels.

Self-Defense: Protect yourself and others

If you could eliminate all the weapons of the world, would that eliminate the desire for "bad guys" to do harm to others?

What would happen to the world if all the good people stopped protecting themselves and others?

What would happen if all the good people of the world could defend themselves and each other?

Consider that 98% of the people in the world are good, peace loving people, that the other 2% are composed of two types:

What separates the difference between the sheepdogs and the wolves? Simply - love. It is love of others and love of freedom and love of what is good and true that they may stand up for what is right to help others.

In some biblical translations, the commandment is "Thou shalt not commit murder." There is no commandment preventing you from defending yourself, in fact, it is your divine right.

Peace

The ability to defend oneself can bring a more profound sense of confidence, security, and peace.

The practice of matial arts is an exercise in focusing. When a punch is coming at you, it naturally promotes awareness of the present moment. You can become more awake, alert and alive. One of the goals of real Arts is to apply this practice to other areas of your life.

In a safe, controlled environment, when being physically aggressed, emotions, thoughts and reactions can come to light. A great opportunity to learn to practice peace, strength, and calmness from Spirit.
